Our Proven 3 Step Insurance Claim Process
With almost 40 years of experience helping homeowners and business owners with insurance claims, we have created a proven process for working with insurance companies.
Step 1: Inspect Your Roof
Your roof may not have received enough damage to constitute a replacement. Before considering an insurance claim, it is important for you to know if the damage you have is worth claiming under your insurance coverage. This is why an inspection is the first step.
Our project managers are trained under the HAAG engineering standard. This is the same standard your insurance company uses to decide if the damage you have to your roof is insurable. After an inspection from a trained expert, you can have a true understanding of the damage to your home. This will allow you to know if starting an insurance claim is right for you and your family.
Step 2: Meet With Your Insurance Adjuster
Most insurance adjusters don't have a extensive knowledge of roofing. If your adjuster doesn't, you could be left with a insurance approval that doesn't fully cover the cost of your new roof. Leaving you responsible for covering the difference.
So, we meet with your insurance adjuster to make sure all damage is documented and all items are accounted for in your insurance estimate. This way your roof meets code and you can pay the least out of pocket possible.
Step 3: Install Your New Roof
Once we review your insurance approval, its time to install your beautiful new roof!
When you trust Linta Roofing, you get a master elite contractor. Only 3% of contractors have this qualification. With this level of certification you can know that your new roof will be installed by one of the best roofing company's in the industry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Unexpected roof damage can raise a lot of questions for you as the homeowner. Here we provide answers to common questions we get from homeowners recovering from storm damage.
Will My Insurance Premium Go Up If I File An Insurance Claim?
Installing a new roof often leads to premium reductions since it lowers the risk of future home damage.
If your current carrier doesn't lower your premium after a new roof installation, you can explore other carriers eager to offer more competitive rates.
If My Roof Is Old Will My Insurance Company Still Pay For The Total Cost Of Replacement?
While it may seem like your insurance carrier would not want to cover the total cost of an old roof, we've seen it happen time & time again. It comes down to what type of insurance coverage you have.
Insurance companies offer Actual Cash Value (ACV) & Replacement Cost Value (RCV) coverage.
Homeowners with RCV insurance will have damage to their home replaced in today's dollars. Meaning it is very possible to have the total cost of an old roof covered by insurance except for your deductible.
Homeowners with ACV coverage will see the value of their loss adjusted downwards to reflect its worth in the current market. Meaning homeowners with ACV coverage may not see full coverage on a total replacement.
How Do I Know Which Deductible Applies For My Insurance Claim?
Deductibles are unique to each insurance policy. However we normally see 2 different types of deductibles:
1. A Named Storm Deductible (which is usually 3% to 5% of the insured value of your home) This deductible is normally applied when there is damage to your home caused by a named storm (like "Hurricane Irma" or "Tropical Storm Ida").
2. All-Other Perils Deductible (Generally costs a homeowner $1,000 to $2,500) This deductible could include damage from driving rain, windstorms, hailstorms, fire damage, flooding, or burst pipes.
