How to Know if Linta Roofing is the Right Roofing Company for You

January 22nd, 2024 | 6 min read

By Jeffrey Linta

There are many roofing companies in the Myrtle Beach area. When it comes to finding the right company for your roofing project, you may find it challenging to narrow down your options.

If you have found this page, you are probably considering using Linta Roofing for your upcoming roofing project. So, instead of making you scour the internet to understand how we conduct business, we thought it might be helpful to provide you with a list of  the things that we prioritize and why.

Everything on this list is a part of what we call the Elevated Roofing Experience. We are sharing this information because we believe that if our values align with yours, we could be an excellent fit for your roofing project!

If you are considering Linta Roofing, we think it is important for you to know the 6 things we take most seriously when we are hired for a roofing project. This list is designed to inform you of the things that we prioritize, so you can choose if Linta Roofing is the right fit for your roofing project.

1. Educating Our Customers

At Linta Roofing, we prioritize educating our customers on roofing materials, their synergy as a system, and the optimal practices for roofing installations. Without grasping the fundamentals of roofing, it becomes challenging to make well-informed decisions for your home, whether you ultimately choose Linta Roofing or another provider.

Our commitment to educating customers on the best practices in roofing stems from our belief that an informed customer is a confident one. We are confident that when you make decisions based on knowledge, your satisfaction with those choices is assured.

We will discuss roofing materials, insurance claims, and all the options you have whether you are looking to repair or replace your roof.

How do we educate?

We will go through each line item in your proposal and explain how your roofing materials work together to keep your home safe. We will define everything from starter strips to ridge vents and all the products that go into your roof replacement.

Your project manager will also offer you additional learning materials from our online Learning Center, video content, and social media clips.

2. Business Practices That Ensure a Long Lasting Roof

Our goal is to help you make decisions that will improve the life and longevity of your roof. Materials are important, quality products are important, but nothing is more important for your roof’s longevity than a proper installation.

Even the highest rated products in roofing can fail if they are not installed properly. This is why the roofing company you choose and their method of installation matters most.

To ensure that we are providing you with a strong roof, we thoroughly inspect your roof, document our process with photos, and have a superintendent that will oversee the install of your roofing project.

Your superintendent will verify the details of your roofing project with you on the first day. These details include your shingle color, your drip edge color, and any specific details in your work order.

Your superintendent will make sure that your manufacturer specifications are met. These specifications include making sure you receive the correct number of  nails per shingle and that the appropriate materials are being installed for your unique roof.

At the end of your roofing project, your superintendent will perform a 40-point inspection. They will get up on the roof and verify that everything we have promised you has actually been completed.

We have seen how communication nurtures transparency and we believe that when you trust us with your roofing project, you deserve total transparency and satisfaction.

3. Transparency Throughout The Roofing Process

We have heard horror stories from our customers about their experiences with roofing contractors. In fact, studies show that roofers are the least trusted of all contractor types [I will find a link to support this].

This lack of trust stems from a lack of transparency. So at Linta Roofing, we go the extra mile to provide transparency to our customers.

Customer Webpage

The way we do this is by creating a customer webpage that we share with you. You will have access to all the photos from your inspection, real-time updates on the progress of your roofing project and inspections, and know when the final inspections are taking place.

We do this so that whether you are at work, at home, or running errands, you are able to see that the promises we made to you are being fulfilled.

Explaining Homeowner Obligations and Exclusions

Another way we maintain transparency is by talking about the exclusions on your proposal and any obligations you may have. The reason we do this is because we do not want you to be surprised or caught off guard at any point during your roofing project.

At the end of the day, roofing is a messy process and there is a lot that goes into it. So there are certain things we ask of you beforehand to ensure an efficient clean-up. These things include making sure the lawn is mowed before the project starts and making you aware that you may lose signal on your satellite dish.

We take the time to go over exclusions with you, which may include factors like the additional expense associated with manually loading your roof (if you choose not to use a boom truck) or the cost involved in removing multiple layers of shingles if they are found.

Our goal is to ensure that you are aware of any circumstances that could impact the overall cost of your roofing project.

4. No Money Down

When entering into a contract with Linta Roofing for non-specialty products, there is no upfront payment required. All we request is a signed proposal. That’s right, for over 90% of our customers, there is no deposit collected.

We are proud to say that we are one of the only roofing contractors on the beach that are able to complete your roofing project before any money is required from you. We believe that it shows you how stable we are as a business and that we are here to stay.

Some roofing contractors collect a deposit to fund their next job, instead of putting that money towards your roofing project. Unfortunately, this practice has landed some roofing companies in the 96% of roofing companies that fail within the first 5 years of business.

When a roofing company goes out of business, they are not able to keep their word to you in the long run. Not only that, but when a roofing company fails, so do their warranties.

We know that at the end of your roofing project you will be proud to pay and if there are any issues with your roofing system in the future you can feel confident that we will be there to help you. This is important to us because we love our Myrtle Beach community and plan to continue to help protect our community for decades to come.

5. Remaining a Pillar in Your Community

What differentiates our community from others is the fact that Myrtle Beach is often hit with extreme weather that leaves people devastated. When a hurricane blows through the area and people’s homes are destroyed, we feel personally invested in helping our community pick up the pieces.

A great roofing company that protects its customers is an important part of any community. Linta Roofing has been in business over the span of 3 generations. We have served the Myrtle Beach area for 38 years and we have helped people in tragic situations regain peace of mind and get their lives back. When tragedy strikes, we are not ‘here today and gone tomorrow’ but we are here to stay and walk through these challenging times with you.

Whether you need a minor repair, a total roof replacement, or you find yourself too shaken up to handle the insurance process on your own, we are happy to help you.

6. We Guide You Through the Insurance Process

The insurance process is not something the average person completes on a daily basis. Many times our customers are concerned about what this process may look like. We are happy to look through your insurance paperwork with you to see if it makes sense for you to make an insurance claim.

If you make an insurance claim we will meet with your adjuster, show them the damage to your roof, and provide storm reports to show when the damage occurred. Then, we will review your approval information to make sure the right things have been accounted for. We do this to stand in solidarity with you and to bring you peace of mind in a stressful situation.

There are plenty of moving factors that go into roof work and we are happy to take on that work for you.

When you are making a big investment, it can be overwhelming to decide which company you want to complete the job for you. We hope this information has allowed you to learn more about Linta Roofing and it has helped you to know if we are a consideration for you on your upcoming roofing project.

While we wrote this article to show you how we will enhance your roofing project, we also encourage you to check out our previous customer reviews to ensure whether or not Linta Roofing is the right fit for you.

Not only are there so many options, but there are plenty of reliable roofers in the Myrtle Beach area. If you have decided that we are not the right roofing company for you, we are still very happy to help you explore the world of roofing through the Learning Center on our website and the informational content we post on social media.

If you are considering trusting us with your upcoming roofing project, we would love to hear from you!
